​​Canalside Paws is for completely exclusive use, so when you book, it will only be you using the dog park, unless you have invited friends or family members to come along with you. You can book here.
When Booking is it just me using the paddock?​
What do I do about dog faeces on site?
​​Responsibility is with our customers to pick up their dog(s) faeces, during their session in the park. We have provided poo bags in case you forget yours and there is a designated bin to easily dispose of your waste. Please do not place poo in any other bin. If any customers do not pick up and dispose of poo safely, we have the right to revoke access to the park.
Do you have buffers between sessions?
​​We do indeed. The buffer is 5 minutes from your one hour session. We say for each dog allow 5 minutes to get back to your car, to retain your dog there to then safely exit the site.
For example - If you have 2 dogs we would say allow 10 minutes buffer to get your dogs retained to your car, ready to safely exit the site.
If you have more due to training, we expect you to incorporate a sensible buffer into your training, finishing at an appropriate time, to get all dogs retained back into your vehicle, to safely exit the site. If this is not going to be possible, as it may leave you with little time in the dog park, you can book longer time slots.
Our 5 minutes per dog buffer, is for you and your dog(s) to have a great time in safety, to eliminate dog fighting and to ensure happy customers/trainers coming in and going out..
What happens if the weather is horrible?
​​Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds or rescheduling sessions due to bad weather conditions. We do have a very nice, well built brick "Viewing Hub", for customers/trainers' to take shelter from the elements. This has free Wi-Fi, desk area with seating, sink, kettle, and drinks so you can take a break and relax. We also have a nice paved pathway to lead you back to the "viewing hub" or your car area, so you are not on a waterlogged walkway. We also have an outdoor seated shelter which overlooks the park, perfect for a rainy day.
We do allow dogs in the viewing hub, however they must be well behaved. Dogs are not allowed on the desk or chairs. The toilet, if required, is just to the side of the viewing hub, not inside the hub itself.
How far in advance can I book?
You can book six months in advance.
Is your dog park secure?
​​Our dog park is completely secure. You have to go through an automated gate upon pin entry and leaving. We also have a buffer system, so everyone remains safe in and out of site with their booked sessions.
